A big discussion about the meat industry has risen in which a lot of parties have chosen different sides.
The consummation of animals has never been an easy subject. When most of our grandparents might have slaughtered a chicken in need for something to eat, most of our generation can only relate to the attractive packaging of meat in the supermarkets.
My project took me to a place where the talk of the city can't be heard, but the accusations can certainly be felt: A local slaughterhouse in the center of a small town. A business that, until recently used to exist in every town.
