Labeled

Arjen Poort

It seemed easy, a diagnosis, a few pills and a friendly lady who explains that I will have to get used to a somewhat different perception and the 26 untreated years past. The practice proved more complicated. The express train stops as by the emergency brake and makes a landscape full of questions and unfinished work visible.

The label 'ADHD' is easily distributed. The guidance is practical and structured, but the acceptance and change, depending on the person, are the opposite.

In "Labeled" I investigate where the stamp and treatment of ADHD stop and I begin. A struggle with identity and a disorder-oriented treatment.
